Senior Fixed Income Analyst
Rick Talerico joined JAG Capital Management (JAG) in 2012 and serves as a Senior Fixed Income Analyst. He entered the investment industry in 1987 and has more than 30 years of experience in investment analysis, fixed income portfolio management, and trading.
Prior to joining JAG, Rick served as a portfolio manager and member of the Fixed Income Policy Committee for St. Louis-based Scout Investments overseeing approximately $2 billion in fixed income assets. Before Scout, Rick worked at A.G. Edwards Trust Company, 40/86 Advisors, Evergreen Investments, Boatmen’s Capital Management, and Fleet Investment Advisors after spending 10 years in the brokerage business trading equity and fixed income in New York and Boston. He earned his BS in Pathobiology from the University of Connecticut.
Rick is a past member of the board and finance committee for UCP Heartland, a not-for-profit organization that provides services and support to those with intellectual and physical disabilities. He volunteers with the Guardian Angel Settlement Association, a not-for-profit dedicated to empowering the disadvantaged through family services, a food pantry, senior support, and developmental childcare. Rick also volunteers through Ascension parish.
Rick lives in Wildwood with his wife of 37 years, their youngest special needs son, and their golden retriever, Domer. He enjoys cooking all types of cuisine — from regional to global, reading, old movies, and travel to visit kids/grandkids across the eastern US.
